• Describe 2 congenital cardiac defects that produce a failing result on pulse oximetry screening
• Explain screening eligibility guidelines for Critical Congenital Heart Disease Screening
• Identify safe and correct methods for performing pulse oximetry on an infant
• Describe critical pulse oximetry screening results.
• Describe available resources for helping parents understand the reason for screening and where to receive help when a test result is positive.
