MOC Part 2 – Critical Congenital Heart Disease Screening - Approved by the American Board of Pediatrics.
For Pediatricians wishing to earn 10 MOC Part 2 Knowledge Self-Assessment Points. The University of Virginia Office of Continuing Medical Education, the Virginia Department of Health and the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital’s Critical Congenital Heart Disease Screening (CCHD) self-assessment activity is approved by the American Board of Pediatrics for 10 MOC Part 2 points. The activity is designed to assess the participant’s knowledge of CCHD screening requirements and processes and to provide theory and practice in interpreting screening results. Following completion of the activity participants should be able to complete a pulse oximetry screen, interpret the results and describe follow-up procedures for a failed screen. The self-assessment activity consists of a pre and post-test, web-based learning content and case studies. A score of 80% on the post-test is required for completion.
